Aelia meets Warner when he is guided to her gun store by Daria's foresight. Had Daria not warned him against it he would have been compelled to kill her to balance the overwhelming injustice that clung to her like the stench of putrifying meat. Having refrained from smashing her face into a display case, Warner charms Aelia into not only selling him firearms off the books, but becoming a close friend. Aelia is confronted by a criminal customer who intends to kill her, but Warner intervenes revealing to her in the process that he is Yellow Eyes. When Aelia is targetted by a group of useful idiots Warner saves her although he regrets the need to kill them. This incident does result in Aelia becoming firmly aligned with Warner and his mission. After Aelia joins the team she reveals that she is a poltergiest that is inhabiting a body she found that did not have a soul living in it. Her soul is approximately a 160 years old even though her body is in its 20. Warner discovers that her activities assisting him are helping her soul to balance and her miasma of injustice is decreasing. |
