The Judge was created and named by the Originator for the task of judging the dead on their actions and assigning them to the appropriate afterlife. As the Judge, the Tenders are her minions. During the War with the Silent One the Originator called upon her and the others like her to assist him. She refused, deciding that it was not her job to pick sides in the War. The Originator felt very betrayed by this refusal and it lead to his eventual withdrawal. After millenia of dealing with the guilt of her actions the Judge leaves her seat and begins gathering forces to fight the Silent One. Having left her seat she begins using her name, Eugenia. Eugenia arrives at Retributions Redoubt shortly after Sam and his team, having been alerted that someone was there, and assuming, incorrectly, that Retribution had returned. Sam informs her that the Log is stolen property and she makes sure it is turned over to Sam. She barters with Sam to receive 2 answers from the Log per decade for a thousand years. As payment she will have sex with him 3 times per week for the same period. Eugenia becomes very amorous once she experiences sex, and develops real feelings for Sam. When it becomes clear that her campaign is ineffectual without the Originator there to counter The Silent One, she withdraws her troops to the Throne of Creation with the intent to wait until the Originator is willing to return and take up the fight again. |
