Nancy agrees to become Steve’s Secret Keeper, one he can divulge his thoughts that he might not feel comfortable sharing with others. Steve also makes her his mistress, and a Creep Witch. Nancy feeds off the suffering of others and of herself, she often asks Steve to hurt her a little during sexual romps though he is often reluctant to do so. Nancy goes along with Steve when he sets out to wage war on the queen of Lamals and get his revenge on Linne Lynn. |

Nancy and Steve grow much closer in book 3. She grows in power to become the strongest of the Creep Witches, and uses her power to create the Creeplands fortress. She also develops a camoflage power that renders her effectively invisible. When the truth is revealed to Steve he selects Nancy to accompany him to Zeus' plane. |
