Background Information[]
Thera was raised to be a house slave, as many elven kind were in the western empire. She, along with her family, were purchased by Vince in a slave auction. Thera initially tried to offer herself up as a simple concubine in order to ensure her family's care, but instead became one of Vince's wives and a leader in Yosemite. She is skilled in stealth, martial combat, and makes for a talented rogue. Being a dark elf, she also has some magic ability.

Thera was among Vince's first purchases after he decided to found a haven for freed slaves. Flush with cash following a spontaneous heist from the Slaver's Guild, he didn't hesitate to purchase Thera's entire family when they were put up for auction. Shortly thereafter, Thera met Vince among the numerous other slaves he purchased. Expecting there would be little difference between him and any other slave owner, she hoped to secure a comfortable position for her family by becoming his concubine. Eva (a wood elf), and in a later auction, Elysia (a high elf), both made identical offers. Though there was brief friction towards Elysia at the start (due to anti-high elf prejudice), she would soon adopt these two as sisters. Thera found that, while Vince had ostensibly accepted their offers to be concubines, he had no designs to use them as such. He instead valued them for their abilities and their aid in establishing Yosemite. She quickly developed genuine affection for Vince, and as he continued to rely on her, he would eventually return her feelings. When it came time to defend Yosemite against the army led by the Al, she fought alongside Vince, her sisters, and the other citizens of their new city-state. Empowered by Vince's magic, she helped Yosemite emerge victorious. |

Vince took Thera with him during negotiations with the high elven city of Verix. Swift and stealthy, she was instrumental in uncovering their system of slavery, and helped Vince liberate the slaves there. Soon after, she became Vince’s second elven wife (after Eva). |

After Petra's death in battle with the Tri-lliance, Thera succeded her as the leader of Yosemite's armies. Though she never considered herself to be Petra's equal, she proved a capable general. |
